Caly came to us on a very windy day in March of 2018. A former racing hound, she’d retired after a middling career to a foster home with Paws on the Mountain adoption group.
We met her in a Petsmart. She was quiet, reserved, didn’t fuss about anything…boy, did she have us fooled! (It’s all fuss all the time now!)
Her racing name was CTW on Facebook. (CTW was the kennel initials; a common naming practice is to use them to make dog names unique). And yeah. Facebook. (Look, her dam’s name was Pole Dancer, so I think she got off pretty easy!)
Picture of her is after she’d gotten a little comfortable…somehow…
She’s much better at bed than she used to be. But she’s still of the mindset of where she ends up, that where she ends up!
